enchanted forest bliss

a fine new rainy day on the north coast
ripe for plucking an enchanted walk

among the redwoods with my heart flame
ancient omniscient trees towering

over a thousand shades of green
creating cover for hobbits and rabbits
divine beams of light pour in past

bright green moss hanging like magic

gnomes' beards from splendiferous tree arms
i gaze at droplets of sparkling dancing water fairies

suspended from giant fern leaves
i walk past cartoon mushrooms

to the beautiful sacred pure river
where i could really smell the rocks breathing
each stone an individual being
with the flick of a wish it skips across the glassy water
